Hi, I'm Aaditya. I'm a Senior Product Designer at Amazon. I lead design for Amazon Business Cart & Checkout, where I delivered the largest checkout redesign in Amazon’s history in partnership with Amazon Consumer, built scalable patterns that drive higher cart purchase volumes, and am leading new collaborative purchasing workflows across business and consumer.
I’ve launched impactful 0→1 features that make collaborative cart sharing easier, shorten checkout times, and improve customer satisfaction across Amazon Business and Consumer. I built cross-org partnerships with Amazon Consumer to identify, consolidate and deliver on shared goals, delivering streamlined, scalable features for both customers. Most recently, I proposed a unified Cart and Checkout vision that enhances in-cart organization, effective error-handling, integrated upsells, and flexibility in shipping and payment options. Through creating and delivering the vision, I secured roadmap funding across multiple verticals and now lead design with product and engineering partners to bring this vision to life.
In the past I've worked on designing collaborative productivity features on the web at Microsoft, creating foundational interaction patterns for a no-code software builder at Unqork, and designed an onboarding experience that drove external brokerage linking at Commonstock (acquired by Yahoo Finance).
Outside of work if you're ever looking for me, odds are I'm at a car event of some kind, or in my driveway washing my car. If there's one thing people know me for outside of my work it's how much happiness and joy enthusiast driving and cars give me. I've been an automotive enthusiast as long as I can remember, and ever since I first got my permit it's been nearly impossible to get me out of the car.
I've owned a variety of enthusiast vehicles in my life (and hope to experience many more). One of the most memorable of which is definitely my W204 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with its infamous M156 6.2L NA V8. While I enjoy all sorts of cars I have a soft spot for natural aspiration. My current obsession is my 981 Porsche Boxster GTS with its 3.4L flat 6 paired with a 6spd manual transmission.
There are few feelings more engaging than a great chassis paired with top end power and a manual transmission. I came from a turbocharged 718 Boxster and while the boost came on quick and it had more torque low-down, the feeling of revving a car to redline and hearing that incredible flat 6 scream early on a Saturday morning on the backroads in the great state of Washington is a nearly unbeatable feeling.
I run a group called Saturday drives where every week I create a route for new and old friends to get together at 7AM and go on a spirited drive. It's been one of the most enjoyable things I've ever done and the catalyst for making some of my closest friends over the years.
